- Skin: The oil reduces irritation and proves to be useful on boils, and dry and inflamed skin. Massaging with Karanja oil may also soothe joint pains.
- Hair: The astringent properties in Karanja oil allow it to protect the scalp barrier. The oil also reduces dandruff, irritation, and premature greying. Mix a few drops with your choice of carrier oil and massage onto the scalp, leave on for an hour or overnight, and wash.
